When several servos start moving at the same instant they pull a current spike faster than any supply can respond, and the rail voltage dips. A large electrolytic capacitor across the servo power rail smooths that spike, and it is one of the cheapest fixes for jitter and random resets. This assortment covers values from 0.1µF up to 1000µF in several voltage ratings, so you have the bulk capacitor for the servo rail plus smaller values for decoupling sensors and logic. Mind the polarity — the striped leg goes to ground — and choose a voltage rating comfortably above your supply voltage.

Pick the right robotic arm power supply, size current from servo stall draw, wire a common ground, and stop brownouts that reset your Arduino or Pi.
Code & electronicsA clear robotic arm wiring diagram: how to connect servos, a PCA9685 driver, the controller and a separate power supply — with the grounding rule that makes it work.
Code & electronicsFixes for the most common DIY robotic arm problems — servo jitter, weak grip, Arduino resets, drifting joints, and I2C errors — organized by symptom.
