Why we recommend it
Weight at the end of an arm hurts twice — it loads every joint below it. This 23mm pancake NEMA 17 keeps the wrist and outer links light while still giving you true stepper precision. Lower torque (17Ncm) means it is not for the shoulder, but for the lighter distal joints it is exactly the right tool, and it pairs with the same A4988/DRV8825 drivers as the full-size motors.
