Most kit arms use hobby servos; this one uses stepper motors on a metal structure, aimed at higher accuracy. It supports a clamping (gripper) mode and a drawing mode, plus record-and-replay and app control — so it doubles as the drawing robot described in our drawing arm guide. Note that the Raspberry Pi is not included: you'll need a Pi to run it, which makes this a good fit if you already own one. Our stepper motor guide explains why steppers trade simplicity for repeatability.
