Overview

Our beginner robot arm kits are designed to be assembled and running in 1–3 hours with no prior robotics experience. Starting at $23 for the 4-DOF STEM kit, these kits use lower-voltage SG90 micro servos (safe at 5V), include all hardware and sample Arduino code, and are suitable for ages 10 and up. The perfect first step into real robotics hardware.

Which Beginner Kit Is Right for You?

Three entry points are available. The 1-DOF G6 Gripper is the simplest — one servo, open/close, ideal for learning servo PWM control. The 2-DOF Pan-Tilt Gimbal adds a second axis and is great for camera tracking projects. The 4-DOF STEM Kit is the most popular beginner kit: base rotation, shoulder, elbow, and a gripper — enough to do real pick-and-place tasks and program interesting sequences.
